Preston's New Toy

This past week we decided that Preston was ready for the Excersaucer, it was a huge success.
He loves to stuff the orange thing into his mouth.
Dallin spreading his hatred for the camera to Preston, I guess it is sweet that he is trying to protect Preston.
My professor for Ethical Concerns of Sports is also the manager of the Orem Owlz, which is a single A baseball team that plays at the University stadium. He offered all of his students all the free Tickets we wanted to this play off game. So we jumped at the chance to go as a family.
Dallin had a lot of fun especially when there was a hit, there were a couple of home runs hit which also proved to be even more exciting for him.
In this one Dallin is watching the mascot who was quite the dancer, Dallin would jump up and dance along with him.
The tickets were great, right behind home plate.
Did I mention Dallin has now reached his no longer happy to take pictures stage of life, well he has and we "hate it".

A Night Out at the Movies

Some of you may or may not be aware that two of Dallins favorite movies are the Toy Story movies. Also you may have noticed that Disney did a re release of both movies in 3D this week. On our way out the door to see Toy Story 2, Dallin had been telling Julie all day while I was gone that tonight no mommy, no poppy, no yeahyeah, just daddy and mine. I should probably clarify; poppy is grandpa, yeahyeah is grandma, and mine is how Dallin says me.
Julie and I thought this was the perfect oppurtunity to introduce Dallin to the movie theater. He loved it. As you can see he got treats which he really didn't care about since he was so taken by the size of the screen.
He had to sit on the very end of his seat because he wasn't heavy enough or big enough depending on how you look at it to keep the folding seat from folding in on him. This was the case for at least a little while untill he realized he could use the seat as a toy and open and close it for fun.
Dallin loved the theater he sat like this pretty much the whole time and yelled and shouted during his favorite scenes. We had only one hitch, those stupid 3D glasses which Dallin did not want to wear. Once I got them one he forgot they were even there. These are the type of experiences that confirm to you that your children are the cutest kids on earth.
